All,

I have setup github pages for the Rtree organization, and I have polished up our Sphinx docs for the library. Please take a look at http://rtree.github.com/ and let me know if something isn't right. This currently represents the unreleased version of the library that should be out by the end of the week. Other than organization and touching things up, the only notable addition was the start of a tutorial at http://rtree.github.com/tutorial.html

If you save the living environment, the biodiversity that we have left,
you will also automatically save the physical environment, too. But If
you only save the physical environment, you will ultimately lose both.

1) Don?t drive species to extinction

2) Don?t destroy a habitat that species rely on.

3) Don?t change the climate in ways that will result in the above.

Hobu is in the process to move RTree into a new central github organization called Toblerity.
I think he was a bit too quick to remove the old location, but you find the new location here: http://toblerity.github.com/rtree/

thanks, that fixed it :)

BTW, on pypi the latest version is still 0.6 which has the issues with
the usingend int64 it would be nice to push out a version 0.7 to fix this.

i run the current Rtree with libspatialindex 1.6 for some months now
without major hickups.

I'm working on a synchronous release of both libspatialindex and Rtree, but I'm still working through the issues. The new documentation sites are part of that effort. Sorry for nuking the other link so quickly.
